About The Position

This is a tenure-track faculty position for candidates who excel in teaching library orientations and supporting faculty and student research. The successful candidate will possess advanced information technology skills. We seek candidates who are committed to ongoing professional development, love of teaching and demonstrate enthusiasm for participating in campus and College committees.

Requirements

• The position requires at least a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Library Science or in Information Science.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated instructional experience at the post-secondary level.
• Experience serving as a librarian in a college or university setting
• Two to five years of professional experience in a business-related company, industry, or organization.
• Professional or community affiliations in business/economics related associations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends
• Instructional knowledge of or another learning management system
• A commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.
