About The Position
The Librarian position is focused on enhancing student achievement through effective school library programs. The librarian is responsible for aligning the library program with State standards and influencing student learning of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) across all curriculum areas. This includes providing resources, instruction, and collaborating with teachers to plan and present lessons. The librarian will also identify existing library resources, provide access to these resources, and design professional development for faculty and the school community.
