About The Position
The PBC Library System is looking for a dedicated individual to assist in coordinating, planning, and developing services for children and teens. This role involves planning, preparing, and presenting story time classes, as well as organizing special events and activities. The successful candidate will provide research, collection development, and readers' advisory services for various age groups, including babies, toddlers, school-age children, teens, and their parents. Additionally, the position may involve exercising direction over Library paraprofessional staff and youth volunteers. The candidate will also conduct tours of the Library and represent the Library at schools and in the community.
