About The Position

Liberty Advantage is currently seeking an experienced LIBERTY ADVANTAGE INSURANCE SALES AGENT (MEDICARE). The position involves developing and maintaining relationships with key personnel at offices and other referral sources. The agent will perform necessary defined tasks to enroll eligible individuals into the Medicare Advantage plan by explaining plan benefits, answering questions about the plan, and guiding prospects through the enrollment process. The agent will maintain accurate and current sales activity reports and records for distribution to leadership, comply with regulatory requirements for marketing and sales, and follow applicable market conduct rules. Additionally, the agent will work with offices in the development and execution of the sales/marketing plan, take inventory of plan marketing materials for each assigned office, and evaluate the office marketing plan to modify as needed to achieve desired results. This position will require 80% travel in assigned areas, with the remaining 20% being work from home.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current license to sell health insurance in North Carolina.
  • Must maintain all requirements to sell health insurance in North Carolina and be in good standing with the licensing board.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Prior sales experience in healthcare market preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to offices within your assigned region.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities
