About The Position

The position is for a Liaison Officer to an outside agency or major military command, providing assessments of impacts from various events on critical infrastructure. Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• All Federal employees are required to participate in Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer for salary payments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance suitable for Federal employment.
• One-year probationary period may be required.
• Position may be designated as essential personnel.
• Position has been identified as a drug testing designated position.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Liaison Officer to an outside agency or major military command.
• Provides assessment of and presents actual or predicted impacts of natural, cyber, or other manmade events on critical infrastructure.
• Acts as the sole representative of the agency and engages with key leadership and staff for coordination of response.
• Provides subject matter expertise in areas concerning critical infrastructure.
• Explains CISA's mission, policies, authorities, organization, products, services, and incident response to Department of Defense military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
