About The Position

The Liaison Officer (LNO) supporting a team within the Department of War, serves as a critical link between operational units, government agencies, stakeholders, and program leadership. This role ensures the smooth exchange of information, synchronization of mission priorities, and alignment of operational and analytical requirements across diverse organizations. The Liaison Officer enhances mission effectiveness by facilitating communication, supporting coordination efforts, and ensuring that operational insights and intelligence considerations are integrated into planning and execution activities. The position requires discretion, strong interpersonal skills, and an understanding of the unique demands associated with SOF and IC environments.

Requirements

0–3 years operational or administrative experience.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Understanding of DoW or IC organizational structures.
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Support liaison activities between SOLIC, DoW elements, IC agencies, and external partners.
Attend interagency meetings and record notes, taskings, and action items.
Maintain contact lists, communication logs, and interaction summaries.
Assist in preparing informational materials describing SOLIC roles and mission sets.
Support coordination of engagements, visits, and cross-organizational briefings.
Monitor and track taskers requiring interoffice or interagency collaboration.
