Mid-Level Liaison Engineer - 2nd Shift Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Liaison Engineer (level 3) to join the Space Launch System program at the Florida Space Station Process Facility and Vertical Assembly Building, which are facilities owned by NASA at Kennedy Space Center, FL . Boeing works at these sites to build the largest rocket in history in the world. The project will eventually take the world to Mars. When you join our team, you'll be part of a legacy of innovation while helping write the next chapter in space exploration history Position Responsibilities: Apply broad knowledge of Boeing design and engineering principles Assess and resolve product and process issues through the product lifecycle. Develop and implement product and process improvement Research of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and design interim and final engineering solutions. Lead development of interim and final solutions Analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for design non-conformances Address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues; recommend and manage complex resolution Represent the engineering community in the build through postproduction environment Ensure supplier and build partner are compliant with Boeing standards Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment Support activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigations
