Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Placement Associate to support our underwriting team. The ideal candidate will assist by performing clerical tasks and ensuring accurate data entry into the underwriting system. This role is essential for maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of information.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance products, policy structures, and relevant underwriting principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus
Prior Insurance experience required
P&C Licensing required

Responsibilities

Evaluating risks associated with insuring individuals and properties
Ensure compliance with relevant carrier standards and federal and state guidelines
Defining coverage limits, endorsements, and exclusions to ensure the policy provides adequate protection, while managing the insurer’s exposure to risk
