In this role, you will be responsible for static and UAS derived LiDAR data collection in both interior and exterior environments. You will assist with setting conventional survey control for static and UAS derived LiDAR data collection efforts. Your duties will include processing static LiDAR data sets, which involves point cloud registration, QA/QC checks to survey control, and general preparation for data extraction. You will also process UAS derived imagery to orthophotography, ensuring QA/QC checks to survey control and preparing for data extraction. Additionally, you will process UAS derived aerial LiDAR data sets, including trajectory processing, QA/QC checks to survey control, point cloud data classification, and general preparation for data extraction. Data extraction from orthophotography and point cloud data sets will be part of your responsibilities, including 2D planimetric features, 3D topography, and BIM modeling (including architectural, structural, and MEP elements). You will review assigned project files for necessary materials and information to carry out project scope and drafting tasks, providing thorough analysis of field notes, legal descriptions, title easements, design plans, utility plans, and construction layout notes. You will develop an understanding of surveying concepts, our company business, and how surveying is integrated into plans and projects, including Transportation Plats, Condominium Plats, Subdivision Plats, legal descriptions, and other survey exhibits. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
