About The Position

The Nine Mile Falls School District is looking for a caring, dependable individual to support students who benefit from consistent assistance throughout the school day. In this role, you'll help students with their daily routines, and provide steady encouragement as the students engage in learning and school life. Some days will stretch you. Many will remind you why you started. You'll build trust, celebrate small wins, and be a steady, supportive presence in someone's world. This is personal, meaningful work, the kind where quiet moments make a lasting impact. It takes patience, empathy, and a willingness to show up for someone who depends on you. You won't be doing it alone. As a small school, we take pride in our close, collaborative team. You'll be supported by our amazing staff and our Director of Student Services, who will ensure you have the training, guidance, and encouragement you need to feel confident and valued in your role. This is more than a job. It's a chance to make a real difference, and often, you find that the experience changes you just as much as it changes the life of a student. Assist the Special Education/Life Skills teacher in meeting the individualized needs of our students qualified for special education services in special education and inclusionary settings. You will join a supportive Nine Mile community and school team to foster academic and social emotional growth for each student.
