About The Position

XPO Logistics is seeking a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver to work nights at their Leigh site. This role involves performing trailer movements in a busy regional yard, ensuring efficient operations without road work. Requirements

• LGV / HGV C+E / Class 1 Entitlement on your licence is ideal.
• Trained yard shunters without HGV Class 1 will be considered for upskilling.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence, with no DD or DR endorsements.
• CPC and Digital Tacho card are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer movements in the busy regional yard.
• Drive a Tug on-site, utilizing previous experience if available.
• Conduct all work yard-based, with no road work expected.
• Utilize shunting experience for manoeuvres in confined spaces.
