At LG, we strive to make Life Good for Everyone. We are actively seeking a 2025 LG Summer Interns to join our Home Appliance Solutions National Sales Team. Our Summer Internship is a 9-week program from JUNE 2ND THROUGH AUGUST 1ST. The internship will be based in the office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $25.00. The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience. The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end. The National Sales, Home Depot project focuses on developing a promotion analytics dashboard to help sales team assess event performance through key metrics like Sales, Forecasts, Pricing, Market Position, Inventory, Marketing, and more. The dashboard will provide insights into value-add strategies, pricing elasticity, competitive activities, and marketing impacts, guiding future planning to maximize sales growth, marginal profit, and returns on investment (ROI). Additionally, you will support ad-hoc analyses on customer trends, attach rates, delivery lead-time impacts, and product mix trends (entry, core, premium) to further optimize sales strategies and drive #1 market share in the appliance industry.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University.
  • Rising Sophomore or Rising Junior in a Business Management/Economics related major is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, VLOOKUP, data visualization); experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze large data sets with a strong understanding of financial metrics (Sales, Profit, ROI, lift analysis, etc.).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across different departments including Marketing, Sales, and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Account Sales Team and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Planning, and Go-To-Market.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales promotions and analyze market trends.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize promotional strategies.
  • Work on an individual strategic project and deliver a presentation at the program's end.
