The LFI Senior Business Analyst is a key member of the Business Data Governance team, responsible for preparing the organization for Large Financial Institution (LFI) status. This role drives data-driven decision-making and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including Reg YY and related reporting regulations (e.g., FR 2052a, FR Y-14, FR Y-15). The analyst will collaborate across teams to develop, test, and execute data solutions that support LFI readiness and strategic business objectives. This person is accountable to ensure the alignment of data requirements between business and technology teams by working alongside business teams to understand business process and data flows. Develop and maintain business data requirements and rules in alignment with Federal Reserve Board (FRB) regulations for Category IV institutions. Development of business data requirements and rules as required by FRB regulations for a Category IV institution and to reflect changes in the business requirements documents. Experience with key regulatory reporting including Call Reporting, FR Y-14, FR Y-15, and FR 2052a. Review business requirements documents and create, execute, and manage test cases to ensure regulatory compliance. Identify and remediate defects in collaboration with technology teams, ensuring timely resolution and quality outcomes. Assist with ad hoc business inquiries by extracting the data from primary and secondary sources using SQL queries and/or Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key business performance metrics. Lead and participate in workshops to clarify business requirements, resolve issues, and address questions with stakeholders. Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Ensure data accuracy and reliability through thorough validation and quality checks. Collaborate with IT and business units to enhance data infrastructure, improve data accessibility, and address reporting and analytical needs. Translate business questions into analytical tasks and deliver actionable solutions that drive strategic decisions. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that data stores accurately capture source data feeds for consumption. Contribute to the success of technology deliverables by providing input and feedback throughout implementation. Train and mentor junior team members as needed, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
