About The Position

The Lexus Senior or Master Certified Technician is responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work. This role requires thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems, demonstrable mechanical skills, and technical training or commensurate experience. The technician will perform services efficiently, follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines, and utilize available technologies to enhance customer experience. The position also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, participating in required training, and adhering to company policies and safety regulations. Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems
  • Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge
  • Technical training or commensurate technical experience required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Designated a Master Technician by respective manufacturer (ASE Master if only required by manufacturer)
  • State inspection/emissions license required by State
  • Completed manufacturer training including diagnostics, EV, diesel, specialty vehicles
  • Completed necessary manufacturer training to complete all warranty repairs on all model vehicles
  • Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
  • Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations
  • Ability to understand and follow technical manuals
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of work experience in Automotive

  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations

  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
