In your role, you would report to the Family Office Accounting Manager and join a great team of Accounting stars who track the numbers, watch the details, and keep everything moving. You will perform monthly bank and investment reconciliations for assigned trusts, private companies, and individuals.

Requirements

• A college degree in Accounting or a similar field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience on an accounting team is highly preferred.
• Intermediate level or above skills with Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks is a big plus.
• Analyzing data to make informed conclusions.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and apply keen judgment.
• A willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Posting monthly income, contributions, distributions & monthly interest accruals on notes
• Providing information to owners and officers, while preparing various ad-hoc analyses and reports
• Entering invoices and processing checks weekly, and preparing and reviewing a weekly cash report
• Preparing quarterly professional/administration fees
• Assisting with quarterly & year-end financial statement preparation
• Assisting with the preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Making deposits and staying up to date with filing
