Summary DLA Piper is seeking an Of Counsel to support our Leveraged Finance practice. This position is open to our New York office. Candidates should have a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, debt capital markets, private credit, fund finance and/or structured finance. Our clients are primarily lead arrangers and direct lenders but we also work with borrowers, issuers and corporates. This is a high growth practice with a supportive, collegial culture that continues to expand every year. Preferred candidates will have a variety of experience in leading, structuring and executing traditional first lien, unitranche, stretch senior, second lien and subordinated loan transactions, ABL facilities, subscription facilities and NAV facilities and experience with structured equity investments, including non-traditional preferred stock financings, and equity co-investments, is a plus. Education JD Bar Admission Licensed to practice in New York. Experience Minimum 9 years of leverage finance experience. Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
