The Level III Innovation Specialist provides functional/technical and consulting services to help the Department of Navy design, build, and achieve creative solutions to complex business and organizational challenges.
Apply logic and structure to solve ambiguous problems
Research and establish analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as assessing the effectiveness of current processes and identifying opportunities for transformation
Collaborate and develop effective working relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
Develop executive level presentations and reports
Process ideas through the innovation pipeline, from initial concept to experimentation/prototyping, with a focus on building knowledge and confidence
Manage across the project lifecycle including assisting with scope definition, business case development, vendor assessment, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, testing, training, and implementation phases
Perform analysis to diagnose client issues as well as the assessment of client issue analyses performed by more junior personnel
Define and drive the strategy behind digital innovation projects, bringing a lens that infuses a mix of customer strategy, business strategy, and experience design
Leverage a variety of modern tools and approaches to solve complex business objectives
Develop and constantly update platform requirements to identify gaps in technologies, processes, and provide technical recommendations on platform modernization
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Four (4) year degree in appropriate technical field from an accredited institution
Active Secret clearance
Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience
Experience designing, developing, and implementing new strategies and tools to support audit or experience developing and implementing emerging technology to support business operations
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
