About The Position

Lockheed Martin is embarking on a transformative journey to enhance its digital capabilities, and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Missiles and Fire Control Team (MFC) in a Technical Support and Systems Administration role. This position is critical in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs on engineering networks and special test equipment within our labs. As part of this role, you will be responsible for workstation administration across heterogeneous networks, including Windows 7/10 and Windows Server-based domains. You will manage operating system cyber compliance, perform upgrades, and ensure patching for both Windows and Linux systems. Your expertise will be essential in providing guidance and management for hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance across multiple architectures. In this role, you will ensure the integrity and availability of applications, coordinating new application installations, upgrades, and customer support in classified areas. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and maintaining various IT hardware, such as PCs, printers, and laptops. Implementing security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures will be a key responsibility, ensuring that our systems remain secure and compliant with DoD standards. This is a full-time onsite position located in Troy, AL, where you will work primarily in closed areas, contributing to the success of our critical programs.
