Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a Level 2 Program Control Analyst or Level 3 Principal Program Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite daily in Roy, UT. This Program Control Analyst position will interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.

Requirements

  • For Level 2: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, OR a Master's degree with entry level experience.
  • For Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, OR a Master's degree with 3 years experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work on site daily in Roy, UT.
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience with Business systems (SAP, Cobra) and using Cobra in a Government Earned Value Management rhythm.
  • Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
  • Experience with the AOP (annual operating plan) and LRSP (long range strategic plan) processes.
  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis.
  • Contribute experience and knowledge with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts.
  • Establish Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled.
  • Assess and maintain objective performance criteria.
  • Maintain and justify estimates to complete.
  • Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
  • Prepare government cost performance reports and variance analysis.
  • Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration.
  • Perform financial performance analyses and visibility reporting.
  • Facilitate and support program monthly rhythm process.
