About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Technician for a contract to hire position. This role involves providing technical support to users, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with physical PCs, and assisting with various IT tasks. The position is hybrid and offers a competitive pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and tickets
• Work on physical PCs to diagnose, reformat, and determine the state of the PC
• Process and log inventory
• Setup new PCs and tablets
• Remotely connect using Automate to PCs to assist individuals with troubleshooting steps, installing and/or uninstalling programs, setting up new user accounts, and assisting with password resets

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of IT support and troubleshooting
• Experience with physical PC setup and maintenance
• Ability to work with ticketing systems
• Familiarity with remote support tools

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Automate or similar remote support software
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
