About The Position

The Level 1 Desktop Support Technician will work part of a team onsite at all large events and offices, supporting all hardware, software, and network devices for in-office employees and temporary event staff as needed. This is a fully onsite role that is contract to hire.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and ticketing systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows OS.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional technical assistance for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems promptly and professionally.
  • Work on desktop imaging, deployment, and patching processes through Microsoft Intune and Ninja One platforms.
  • Administer and manage Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account provisioning.
  • Lead and coordinate desktop support initiatives, including hardware refreshes and software deployments.
  • Document and maintain procedures, solutions, and best practices in the internal knowledge base.
  • Install, relocate, configure, and customize workstations for temporary employees during events.
