We are seeking a Data Product Manager to join the MoodyViews product organization within Moody's Analytics. This role focuses on building scalable and efficient data products that support analytical workflows and enterprise data delivery across Moody's Analytics. You will be responsible for managing the full data product lifecycle-from ideation to delivery-working closely with data engineers, analysts, QA, business stakeholders, and other product teams to ensure high-quality data solutions.

  • Lead the delivery of data products, working with cross-functional teams including data engineering, QA, technology, and business strategy
  • Translate business needs into data requirements with a strong focus on data workflows, scalability, and performance
  • Own the data product backlog, prioritizing features, technical tasks, and improvements based on business value, effort, and dependencies
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure accurate understanding of data structure, source systems, and integration logic
  • Actively manage sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in an agile development environment
  • Ensure that data quality, documentation, lineage, and governance standards are upheld
  • Identify opportunities to automate data workflows and reduce failure points across the data lifecycle
  • Communicate product status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and drive innovation within the role and across Moody's.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and are comfortable querying and analyzing large datasets across relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases
  • Strong track record of working with data engineers and navigating complex data infrastructure to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
  • Experienced in agile methodologies and lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive iterative product development
  • Effective communicator who bridges technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment across product, engineering, QA, and business teams
  • Results-oriented and use metrics and client feedback to prioritize work, evaluate impact, and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience in the finance industry and understand the critical role of data quality, timeliness, and regulatory alignment
  • Proactive team member who promotes automation, scalability, and operational efficiency in all aspects of the data product lifecycle
