About The Position

The Warehouse Forklift Operator at KeHE is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the distribution center. This role requires proficiency in operating a Reverse Raymond Reach Forklift and involves working in various temperature zones including dry areas, coolers, and freezers. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
• Ability to follow safe working practices as instructed.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials and products within the distribution center.
• Operate the Reverse Raymond Reach Forklift and be tested on it during the interview.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Bring overhead products down to the pick bay and stock products in proper locations.
• Rotate stock according to date coding and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Use computer and/or Radio Frequency Unit to record and track products.
• Maintain good attendance and safe work practices.
