About The Position

Summary: Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval/denial of Dealer loan applications. Communicates with dealerships on a regular basis. Works closely with Dealer Finance lenders and support staff. Supports and coordinates with Collections Department and other internal bank departments. Essential Duties: · Review and evaluate loan applications received from Dealers · Analyze applicant financial information, credit reports, cash flow, collateral evaluations to determine credit worthiness · Ensure credit and collateral documentation is complete, accurate and in compliance with lending regulations · Exercise discretion and sound judgement in credit decision process · Direct communication with Dealers to approve and/or decline loan applications · Review Dealer loan packages for completeness or missing documents · Communicate with Dealers to correct document errors or missing documentation · Maintain, develop, and expand on current Dealer relationships · Service new and existing loan customers · Monitor loan portfolio to identify trends or problems in a timely manner · Assist Collections Officer in the collection of delinquent loans · Prepare daily and monthly reports for management review · Monitor Collateral Management system and take appropriate action as needed · Process collateral releases on paid off loans · Process and document declined and withdrawn loan applications · Perform other duties as required Non-Essential Duties: • Participates in Bank-sponsored and other community/civic events. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • A minimum of six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and/or in writing.
  • Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Proficient organizational skills with ability to function in a flexible work environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Professionalism in dealing with customers and fellow employees.
  • Current driver’s license to travel to other bank branch locations and other bank-related travel.
