KEY TASKS Inspect offline press station mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components and manage their maintenance schedule with assistance from maintenance and engineering. Inspect full tooling sets offline between each run. Manage the mechanical, electrical and pneumatic maintenance schedule for each set of tooling to ensure full operability of each tool before its use with assistance from engineering and maintenance. Setup tooling for upcoming run. Ensure tooling set to defined setpoints as set by engineering. Work with Engineering to improve tooling setups to maximize uptime and product quality. Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures at the press station, shuttle and annealing section. Keep digital records of tooling and press station measurements and adjustments. Perform basic electrical and pneumatic work and intermediate level mechanical work on press station and tooling in support of the tasks denoted. Work with engineering in support of process improvement activities. Monitor processes and make adjustments as needed to improve yields, reduce waste, lower cycle times, and reduce overall operational costs. Investigate causes of defects. Train operations employees in the manufacturing process and oversee work defects. Regular attendance, report to work on time for all scheduled shifts, and complete all shifts. Work overtime as required. Work cooperatively with others. Stand on concrete for 12 hours. Work in team environment and participate in team meetings. Other duties as assigned.
