About The Position

The Legislative Budget Analyst will analyze and assist in the preparation of recommendations concerning the Governor's proposed budget. The role involves participating in budget negotiations and the preparation of budget bills copy and memoranda. Additionally, the analyst will draft, develop, and analyze legislation, develop state policy proposals, oversee policy implementation, and orally present bills at Committee meetings, answering questions posed by Members regarding proposed legislation. The position also includes performing other duties necessary for the proper operations of the office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred
• Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify identity
