We currently have an opening for a Legal Technology Administrator (part-time) in our Mason, Ohio location. The Legal Technology Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Clopay’s legal technology systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal operations and will involve working with cutting-edge legal technology tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing SharePoint workflows and other collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in database development and management, particularly with legal-specific systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage SharePoint workflow processes to automate and streamline legal and business operations.
  • Lead the development and administration of various legal databases, including:
  • Litigation management systems to track case information, deadlines, and documents;
  • Patent portfolio management systems to manage intellectual property assets, information, deadlines, and documents;
  • Contract management systems to oversee the entire contract lifecycle and management; and
  • Third-party payment systems and workflows.
  • Program, pioneer and develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance the legal function and improve data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Clopay’s Legal Team to identify technology needs and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to Clopay’s Legal Team on various technology platforms.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in legal technology and recommend innovative solutions.
