Internship: Legal Team
About The Position
As part of our 2026 Internship Program, we are excited to offer opportunities for highly motivated college students to gain hands-on experience and professional development in our Legal Department. Internships will run from May-August, 2026. Applications will be reviewed in January. Internship Summary: The Legal Team Intern will work closely with our General Counsel to gain experience in corporate and international law. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain direct mentorship and valuable exposure to legal operations within a global logistics organization.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in corporate law, compliance, or the transportation and logistics industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with contract review, editing, and organization.
- Conducting research on transportation laws, labor regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Supporting the preparation of documentation related to claims, disputes, and contract negotiations.
- Updating legal files and ensuring document accuracy within company systems.
- Collaborating with the Legal Team and General Counsel to review current processes and suggest improvements.
- Monitoring and analyzing regulatory updates that impact supply chain and logistics operations.
