Launch your legal career in commercial real estate with JLL's Legal Summer Internship Program. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in our fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll work directly with our in-house legal team and business partners across multiple service lines. As a legal intern, you'll gain comprehensive exposure to the commercial real estate industry while contributing meaningfully to our team's success. You'll support various legal matters, conduct research, and develop practical skills that will serve as a strong foundation for your career in real estate law. Program Overview: Start Date: June 2026 Duration: 8-10 weeks Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) Location: Chicago, IL with remote work flexibility
Requirements
- Current law school student having completed 1L or 2L year
- Strong academic performance
- Genuine interest in commercial real estate and business law
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Previous exposure to real estate or business law
- Experience with legal research platforms
- Familiarity with data analysis and technology tools
