Job Summary • Review title work and prepare title binders/commitments for Real Estate closings. General Accountabilities • Ensures that the title on properties are valid. • Examines all documentation, including mortgages, liens, contracts, etc. to verify factors such as ownership or restrictions. • Researches all title evidence required. • Obtains descriptions of properties and names of involved parties. • Examines individual titles to determine if any restrictions apply. • Prepares reports that describe any title obstructions. • Consults with pre-closer regarding title-related information. • Enters data in SoftPro Select to create title binder/commitment and other documents required by lender. • The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
