About The Position

The Legal Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies that align with the Firm's financial goals and client service objectives. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing pricing models, and providing insights to help inform decision-making. The analyst will analyze documents and data, interpret results, and provide pricing support to the Firm's partners, senior management, and clients to facilitate effective decision-making. Responsibilities include developing pricing models, preparing cost estimates for legal services, drafting fee-related language for RFPs, measuring performance against billing arrangements, and monitoring market trends to recommend adjustments to pricing models. The analyst will engage attorneys in discussions regarding pricing and perform ongoing maintenance of related databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or a related role, preferably within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of full MS Suite and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
