About The Position

The Legal Practice Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our firm. Beyond basic administrative tasks, this position involves critical responsibilities that contribute directly to our operational efficiency. As the first point of contact for clients, you will also shape their experience with our firm.

Requirements

  • Prior administrative experience, preferably in a legal setting.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and attorneys.
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring their positive experience.
  • Efficiently manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for attorneys and partners.
  • Maintain and organize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and promptly.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and document drafting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a well-organized office environment.
  • Utilize software applications effectively for tasks such as document creation, data management, and communication.
