Responsible for providing administrative support for different practice areas. Ability to respond quickly to changing demands and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Skilled at dealing with clients. Able to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage deadlines.

Requirements

  • Excellent document management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe; PowerPoint a plus.
  • High School diploma required.
  • 5 years of legal experience is required

  • PowerPoint a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents
  • Keeping track of attorney time records and billing
  • Filing legal documents (e-filling skills are required)
  • Transcribing dictation
  • Corresponding with clients
  • Maintaining calendars
  • Open new files and client matters
  • Request conflict of interest checks
  • Maintain all client and general files
  • Maintain client contact when appropriate
  • Work closely with other administrative support staff (conflicts, records, office services, etc.)
  • Receive clients and visitors; maintains good public relations with clients; observes confidentiality of attorney-client relationship
  • Proof read documents
