Notion is hiring a Legal Ops Program & AI Enablement leader to help scale and modernize its Legal function. This role sits at the center of operations, systems, and technology—partnering closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to improve how legal work is executed, tracked, and optimized. In this role, you will manage and enhance core legal operations, including eBilling, matter management, and vendor coordination, ensuring smooth execution across budgeting, accruals, and payment workflows. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, streamline intake and processes, and build scalable systems that support a wide range of legal functions, from commercial to litigation. A key focus of the role is developing and maintaining Legal’s knowledge infrastructure—ensuring information is organized, accessible, and continuously improved. You will define and track key metrics, surface insights on spend and efficiency, and translate data into actionable improvements that shape how Legal prioritizes and operates. You will also play a central role in evaluating and implementing legal technology and AI tools, piloting automation solutions and improving adoption across the team. This includes building playbooks, refining workflows, and designing systems that increase speed, consistency, and visibility. The ideal candidate brings strong legal operations experience, a systems-oriented mindset, and hands-on familiarity with legal tech and AI tools. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, translating operational challenges into scalable solutions, and driving initiatives from concept through execution. This is a high-impact role for a builder who is motivated by improving how teams work at scale.
