About The Position

As a Legal Intern, you will support our in-house legal team by conducting legal research, analyzing complex legal issues, and assisting with litigation and intellectual property matters. You will work closely with the Associate General Counsel and General Counsel to develop practical legal skills while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the company. Our internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week, typically between 8 AM-5 PM. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the workday. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school with strong grades. Ideal candidates are rising 2L students. Exceptional undergraduate students considering law school may also be considered.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer internship between May through September 2026.
  • Proficient in legal research methodologies and platforms.
  • Strong legal writing skills with the ability to produce clear, well-organized memoranda. Must submit a short (2-5 page) writing sample with application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on discrete issues using Bloomberg Law and other resources, and prepare clear, concise legal memoranda
  • Assist with litigation support, including reviewing documents and transcripts in discovery and providing summaries and analysis
  • Review and analyze the company's intellectual-property portfolio to identify gaps in coverage and provide strategic recommendations for expansion
  • Support intellectual-property initiatives and trademark management processes
  • Collaborate with the legal team on various projects and legal matters as they arise
  • Participate in meetings and build relationships with other interns across departments
