Over your 10-week paid internship, our Legal Intern will split time between the Office of the General Counsel, which provides corporate and regulatory support for the bank, and Legal/Loan Processing, which documents the bank’s loans. The intern will perform legal audits and signatory authority reviews, learn about loan and collateral documentation and assist with contract reviews. In addition, this intern will shadow attorneys on conference calls and participate in team meetings. They will learn about the board relations process and provide assistance as needed. At the end of the summer, the Legal intern will present a capstone project. A typical project might include conducting an in-depth analysis and legal research and preparing a memorandum, making a lasting impact on the Legal team. This is a paid position for a first-year law student working toward a degree in Law at the University of Colorado at Boulder or University of Denver. Interns work approximately 40-hours per week.
