About The Position

The Intern position in the Legal department at AgWest Farm Credit offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain practical experience in a corporate legal environment. This temporary role is designed for individuals who are currently in their second or third year of law school and are interested in commercial or corporate law. Interns will work closely with the Legal team and in-house corporate attorneys, assisting with various legal tasks and gaining insights into the legal compliance processes within the organization.

Requirements

• 2L or 3L status with some interest in commercial or corporate law.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Completion of coursework in commercial law and business entities considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with legal research and writing.
• Review documentation, procedures, and policies to ensure legal compliance with federal and state laws.
• Coordinate with employees across the organization, as well as external entities.

Benefits
