About The Position

The Legal Intern, Strategy and International position at RTX Corporation is designed for law students entering their sophomore year or higher by summer 2025. The intern will support the Strategy and International Legal team, engaging in various legal aspects of business strategy and international programs. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex legal issues, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and gain exposure to multiple legal practice areas, including intellectual property, international law, and compliance.

Requirements

• Must be at least a first or second year law student by the start of summer 2025, pursuing a Juris Doctor degree with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Excellent analytical ability and legal drafting skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and manage multi-dimensional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly research and learn new legal concepts and issues.

Nice To Haves

• Attending an ABA accredited law school.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Fluency in a language other than English, such as German, Arabic, Hindi, Polish, Romanian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, or Hungarian.

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategy and International Legal team in legal aspects of business strategy and execution of international programs.
• Research and advise on relevant legal questions and challenges related to Raytheon's international operations.
• Analyze complex legal situations and communicate findings through verbal and written work products.
• Collaborate with RAY attorneys and other internal teams to address legal issues.
• Assist in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
