About The Position

Thank you for your interest in Compassion’s Internship Program. We are looking for a Legal Intern to join our General Counsel Office this spring. Work alongside the team in helping draft and set up contract templates, revise corporate documents, Claims follow-up, Licensing and registration processes, and other project work to contribute to the mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. The application deadline is October 31, 2025. This is a full-time, remote internship position.

Requirements

• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Act as an advocate to raise awareness of the needs of children
• Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children
• Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations
• Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct
• Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children
• Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors
• Current J.D. candidate or law student (preferred)
• Legally eligible for employment in the United States
• Experience drafting simple legal documents
• Experience or interest in employment law
• Knowledge of new and updated laws and regulations
