The Charles Ogletree Reparative Bar Association (ORBA) is launching a competitive, one-year legal fellowship for early-career attorneys who want to help shape the future of reparative justice law in the United States. This is more than a job—it’s an invitation to stand at the frontier of a growing movement for racial repair, working closely with reparations-focused movement lawyers, legal scholars, and commissions across the country. Under the visionary leadership of Professor Justin Hansford—Howard Law faculty member, founder and head of the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center, co-founder of the African American Redress Network, and international leader in the reparations space—the Fellow will help build the intellectual, educational, operating, and organizing infrastructure of a new professional home for reparations lawyers.
