About The Position

In this role, you will play a central part in enabling scalable, customer-focused growth by building and improving commercial legal operations in a fast-growing, international environment. You will work closely with business teams to support commercial contracting, streamline negotiations, and reduce friction across deal cycles. This is a hands-on position combining legal expertise, operational ownership, and continuous improvement. You will help design efficient workflows, implement modern tooling, and responsibly leverage AI to enhance legal productivity. Operating in a fully remote and globally distributed setup, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure clarity, speed, and compliance. Your work will directly impact revenue acceleration, risk management, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a pragmatic legal professional who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and building systems that scale.

Requirements

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification, with the ability to manage commercial contracts independently.
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial contracting, gained in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract interpretation skills with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Experience operating in a modern, tool-driven environment, including platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
  • High level of comfort using AI tools responsibly to enhance drafting, analysis, summarization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to deliver practical legal training and guidance to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, solution-focused approach.

  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or international contracting environments is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer and partner agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, order forms, and related commercial terms.
  • Support commercial negotiations by advising on legal risk, proposing pragmatic alternatives, and enabling efficient deal closure.
  • Maintain and continuously improve contract templates, fallback positions, playbooks, and internal legal guidance.
  • Own end-to-end contracting workflows, including intake, approvals, execution, tracking, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Manage contract repositories, ensuring accurate documentation, version control, and compliance with internal processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Product teams to support business objectives while managing legal risk.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on specialized legal matters and jurisdiction-specific topics.
  • Drive continuous improvement through AI tools, automation, and process optimization to reduce turnaround times and improve efficiency.
  • Deliver enablement sessions and training to commercial teams on contracting best practices and negotiation strategies.
  • Monitor regulatory developments relevant to SaaS businesses and proactively flag emerging legal risks.
