Get To Know Us: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal support and strategic guidance across multiple business functions. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, finance, and procurement, and focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services and/or SaaS industry and the ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing.
  • 3–5 years of legal practice experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house roles.
  • 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex B2B SaaS agreements, including privacy-related matters.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance; financial services experience is a plus.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
  • Proficient with legal research tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work onsite at least six days per month.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including client and vendor contracts, data security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including client contracts, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to advise on applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments, including sales, operations, finance, and procurement.
