Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Provide legal guidance for CST matters requiring an OU attorney, including business development activities involving Sales Agency, Distribution, and Operation/Sourcing issues not addressed by GOSC. Offer legal support for Sales, Service, Repair, and related CST operations, such as addressing routine questions from the field and service representatives, as well as managing issues like unauthorized distributors or non-validated third-party products. Handle legal aspects of Sales Channel efforts, working with paralegal staff to draft, negotiate, and advise on independent manufacturing representative agreements. Collaborate on legal matters related to product development agreements with third parties. Advise internal clients on concerns such as potential litigation, promotional strategies, competitor conduct, privacy, and security, coordinating with subject matter experts throughout the enterprise. Counsel the company on risk assessment, anti-kickback, and anti-trust regulations. Candidates must be admitted to practice law. The attorney should demonstrate the ability to work across various business functions and enterprise teams, collaborate effectively with stakeholders and experts, and respond promptly. Responsible for designing, assessing, or implementing training programs tailored to operational units or specific functions, and for enhancing work processes by incorporating AI tools when suitable. As this role may shift and develop over time, the candidate should demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to handle new and varied tasks as assigned by their manager. May oversee work with external counsel.

Requirements

  • Requires a Juris Doctorate
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates must be admitted to practice law.
  • The attorney should demonstrate the ability to work across various business functions and enterprise teams, collaborate effectively with stakeholders and experts, and respond promptly.
  • As this role may shift and develop over time, the candidate should demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to handle new and varied tasks as assigned by their manager.
