Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related contract experience, OR Associate's degree and at least 3 years of related contract experience.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of basic contracting principles and primary contract types.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience building and maintaining excellent internal and external working relationships.
  • Demonstrated high level of accuracy, attention and detail, and process orientation.
  • Able to work independently and effectively, handling high levels of ambiguity, and able to anticipate problems and obstacles before they arise.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal certificate and at least 1 year of pharma, home infusion, home healthcare, and/or specialty pharmacy contract coordination and administration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Pharmacy Operations, Market Access, Business Development, Facilities/Real Estate, Finance, Information Technology, Compliance and other applicable business units to lead and manage the administration of our contracting process.
  • Draft, participate in contract negotiations, revise, finalize customer and procurement contracts, and analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle from inception to execution and post-implementation.
  • Utilize and manage electronic Contract Management System technology.
  • Maintain knowledge of status and information within contracts.
  • Facilitate the routing, approval, and execution of third-party contracts.
  • Compile all executive summary documents to present for review including contract and credentialing documents, financial models, legal and operational review comments, issue memos, etc.
  • Communicate status of contracts to various business units and executives as appropriate.
  • Provide necessary support and communication to all internal Option Care Health personnel regarding day-to-day sales, service, operations, and contracting functions.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, requests, and initiatives.
  • Draft and manage correspondence regarding contract terminations and disputes with minimal supervision.
