About The Position
As a Contracts Manager within the law department at Aon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Investments Practice. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from most locations in the United States or from an Aon office, depending on your preference. Your primary responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, such as investment management agreements, investment consulting agreements, and fund side letters. You will also review requests for proposals to ensure compliance with legal and contracting requirements, and prepare and coordinate the annual review of contract templates across the Human Capital practice in collaboration with internal clients. In addition to these tasks, you will assist in the preparation of private fund documents, coordinating with external counsel and third-party service providers. You will also be responsible for coordinating investment fund board meeting materials with external fund service providers and internal clients. As a representative of the legal department on assigned Aon committees, you will contribute to important decision-making processes. Furthermore, you will assist the legal team on special projects and support other areas of the Human Capital law department as needed. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build relationships with both internal and external clients while expanding your knowledge of the investment advisory industry.
