About the position

The Legal & Compliance Coordinator serves as a pivotal position in facilitating the investments made by the entities managed by DUMAC, Inc. This position is responsible for providing support for the legal and compliance department including working with legal documents, assisting with compliance activities and corporate governance and entity maintenance. This position is accountable for meeting deadlines and effectively executing work product under significant deadline pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain team responsibilities and status of action items to facilitate and meet all deadlines
  • Populate data into legal documents and investment contracts for submission
  • Liaise with legal, compliance and other staff cross-functionally to facilitate transaction closings
  • Organize and ensure fully executed contracts are received and complete versions are maintained
  • Identify and extract legal and compliance information from contracts and enter into database(s)
  • Prepare regulatory filings and assist with other compliance related matters
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time
