About The Position

The Legal Compliance Analyst at Penumbra is responsible for supporting the legal compliance team, focusing on ensuring compliance with internal policies and laws regarding interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations. This role involves managing compliance operations, reviewing data for compliance with various regulations, and supporting the Healthcare Compliance Committee. The analyst will draft and manage contracts, process expense reports, and assist in training related to compliance programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant role or similar.
  • Experience with contract drafting and management preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems applications such as Certify, Salesforce, Agiloft, and MediSpend.
  • Proficiency with other MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.).
  • Familiarity with medical device industry guidelines and aggregate spend reporting obligations preferred.
  • High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
  • Familiarity with the AdvaMed Code and MedTech Europe Code.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, execute, and facilitate organization of various contracts, particularly those related to physician services.
  • Review and process expense reports through Certify or other T&E platforms in accordance with compliance policies.
  • Serve as a resource for field team questions regarding expense reports.
  • Manage compliance-related workflow and ensure timely completion of email requests.
  • Support the Healthcare Compliance Committee by managing related data in compliance platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, events, and medical evaluation teams to ensure timely submissions to the HCC.
  • Assist in training and implementation of Penumbra's Compliance Program and policies.
  • Monitor legal compliance shared inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Lead other Legal Compliance team projects as needed.
  • Gather master data on healthcare professionals and organizations for analytics and reporting.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation for aggregate spend reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and adhere to the Company's Quality Management System.
