Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law firm setting is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Clio Manage or similar document management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of legal documents and contracts.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
  • Manage case files using Clio Manage and ensure all documentation is accurately maintained.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to client information and case management.
  • Draft correspondence and communicate with clients regarding case updates.
  • Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys.
  • Answer incoming calls from clients and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with team members on various legal projects as needed.
