About The Position

In this role, you will be part of a team of 200+ legal, compliance, surveillance and regulatory professionals located in the U.S., Europe and Asia working closely with the business units that we support. You will work directly with our attorneys to draft, proofread and submit regulatory filings, prepare for upcoming investigations/cases, work with our external stakeholders, get involved in special projects as needed, and perform daily administrative tasks. You will work in a fast-paced legal department where you might have to perform various tasks on more than one project simultaneously with tight deadlines. Composure and ability to multitask is important. You will interact regularly with internal business clients, outside attorneys, regulators and senior executives. You are the ideal candidate for this position if you are organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all of our regulatory and our business clients' needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience.
  • Familiarity with the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts legal research.
  • Assembles and analyzes records.
  • Checks legal forms for accuracy.
  • Prepares correspondence and legal documents.
  • Schedules interviews and meetings.
  • Organizes and maintain documents in a paper or e-filing system.
  • Tracks and monitors existing cases.
