About The Position
The Washington County District Attorney's (DA) Office is currently recruiting for a Legal Administrative Supervisor. The DA's Office is responsible for the prosecution of individuals charged with crimes and other violations of state statutes that occur within Washington County. The DA's Office also provides legal assistance to the County's Juvenile Department, preparing legal documents and performing trial work in delinquency and dependency proceedings. Amongst a variety of other programs, we also work collaboratively with all of the law enforcement agencies in Washington County as well as with the Community Corrections and Juvenile Departments. The Legal Administrative Supervisor is a key member of the District Attorney's Administrative Team. In this position you will demonstrate to have a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system and legal procedures as applied in a prosecutor's office. You will participate in the review of operations and development of procedures as they relate to staff functions supporting the prosecution of criminal cases. You will also serve as the liaison between the DA's Office and citizens selected to serve as grand jurors and performs all duties related to their service. In addition, you will be assigned to personnel management and position control duties and supervises specified support staff.
